Share the benefits of eating plant-based with your pups by making a batch of natual dog treats. Made using clean and wholesome ingredients (people friendly too if you'd like to give them a try). My dogs absolutely loved them!

Check out the recipe below.

Servings: About 15 Dog Treats l Estimated Total Time: 40 Minutes

Ingredients:

1 ½ cups of cooked sweet potato

2 cups of oats

1/2 cup of unsweetened applesauce

2 tablespoons of ground flax

2 tablespoons of natural peanut butter

¼ teaspoon of salt

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Add oats to a blender or food processor and blend until a mostly fine powder remains (leaving whole or partially ground oats is fine if you’d like your treats to have more texture). Add oat flour, sweet potato, ground flax, natural peanut butter and salt to a large mixing bowl and mix until everything is well combined. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. If you have a dog treat cookie cutter, place the cutter on parchment paper, spoon out dog treat mix into the cookie cutter and even out using fingers. Carefully remove cookie cutter and repeat until all of the mixture has been used. You can also roll the mixture into ½ inch balls rather than using a cookie cutter. Cook for 30-35 minutes or until outside just begins to crisp.

Odis was definitely a fan of the treats!
