Edamame hummus tastes great on sandwiches, vegetables, crackers, pretzels, you name it! If you are a fellow hummus lover, give this unique hummus recipe a try.
8 oz bag of frozen shelled edamame
⅓ cup of tahini
2-3 cloves of garlic
2 tablespoons of lime juice
2-3 tablespoons of water
½ teaspoon of onion powder
½ teaspoon of smoked paprika
¼ teaspoon of red pepper flakes (+ more to sprinkle on top)
1 teaspoon of sea salt
Pepper to taste
Warm edamame in the microwave according to the package. Add edamame, tahini, minced garlic, lime juice, 2 tablespoons of water (add additional tablespoon of water if needed to reach desired consistency), onion flakes, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes, sea salt, and pepper to a food processor or blender. Pulse until smooth.
