I love adding this delicious creamy slaw to BBQ Pulled Jackfruit Sandwiches, Buffalo Cauliflower Tacos and other recipes with a saucy veggie base. I usually use store bought vegan mayo but there is the option to make your own mayo. I recommend the Forks Over Knives recipe linked above.


  • 1 cup of shredded green cabbage

  • ¼ cup of shredded carrots

  • ¼ cup of thinly sliced red onions

  • ½ cup of vegan mayo (check out FOK Vegan Mayo recipe for a delicious oil-free option)

  • 2 teaspoon of lemon juice

  • ½ teaspoon of sea salt

  • Pepper to taste


Add mayo and lemon juice to a small bowl, mix well and set aside. Add Shredded green cabbage, carrots, and red onions to a medium sized bowl. Mix in lemon juice and mayo into the veggies. Add salt and pepper and mix well. Store in the refrigerator until you're ready to dig in.
