Flavorful and tasty pasta ready in just 20 minutes!
Ingredients
2 cups of dried whole wheat pasta
2 onions
5 cloves of garlic
2 tablespoons of soy sauce
½ cup of tahini
1 cup of pasta water
1 ½ teaspoons of cajun seasoning (or favorite seasoning blend)
Preparation
Bring a pot of water to a boil for pasta. Once boiling, cook pasta according to the package (usually 7- 9 minutes). Thinly slice onions and add to a skillet on medium heat. Add a splash of water if onions begin to stick. Cook for 5-7 minutes, until they start to carmelize. Add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 more minutes, stirring frequently. Add soy sauce and seasoning to the onions and garlic. Mix well and cook for about a minute. Add in pasta water and tahini. Mix well then add in cooked noodles. Stir and let cook through for about 1-2 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
