Usually I just sprinkle nutritional yeast on my veggie pizzas but this homemade vegan parmesan recipe is a game changer. Make a big batch to keep in the fridge for pizza, pasta, salads, and more.
Ingredients
Whole wheat pitas
Store-bought tomato sauce or try this easy Marinara Sauce recipe
Veggies of choice
Vegan Parmesan:
⅓ cup of raw cashews
1 tablespoon of nutritional yeast
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
½ teaspoon of onion powder
½ teaspoon of salt
½ teaspoon of dried basil
½ teaspoon of dried parsley
¼ teaspoon of oregano
Preparation
Add vegan parmesan ingredients to a food processor and pulse until well combined, parmesan like texture. Add tomato sauce, veggies and vegan parm to pitas. Cook at 375 degrees for about 10-12 minutes.
